Hirers are not allowed to use the kitchen. When we were last there they suggested that we would like to pitch our catering tent on a dirt track which was ankle deep in mud. The reason given was that they couldn't let us use the fields because they needed to keep them nice for their customers. They closed 70% of the site to the group who had paid to hire it all and the staff who met us when we arrived were rude and unhelpful.
However the weekend warden was very helpful indeed and lent us his landrover.
We can bring along our mobile kitchen. Please ask us about hire costs.
The indoor beds are in garden sheds; very atmospheric but you may want to take several blankets in Winter.
