The Banqueting Club specialise in providing event specific food that is fresh, homemade and delicious. We have over five years experience and hundreds of delighted customers. We have catered a wide range of events: from authentic medieval banquets for a hundred people, to full Victorian high tea and grand Georgian picnics. We have even been found making stew and baking bread over an open fire for re-enactors. People keep asking to book us again and again.
Our success is all down to two things: excellent cooking and a belief that food is central to an event. Food adds atmosphere, provides plot opportunities and keeps people going at 2am.
We will work with you to provide menus that complement your event, taking the time and effort to check sources and sample recipes for you. Our menus page shows you some of the menus we have prepared for previous events.
Of course great food is one thing but having run and enjoyed events ourselves we know that flexible timing makes an event organiser's life so much easier. Linears overrun by hours, crew forget to eat and players have a habit of arriving on-site after dinner has been cleared away. As long as you let us know what is happening we are happy to move meal times, keep food back for latecomers or add a hot snack in the freezing hours of the early morning.

Two removes each consisting of a starter, a choice of main courses, bread, side dishes, salads and a light sweet followed by a full banquet (or pudding) buffet.

Over the years we have cooked in many different places, some of which we liked and some of which weren't quite ideal.
